Macbeth Exercise

“it is too full ‘o the milk of human kindness” In this quote, Shakespeare uses metaphor to portray the human emotion of kindness to be a kind of liquid and Lady Macbeth proclaims that Macbeth is “too full” of it; like it’s a cup of milk that can fulled and emptied at will. It shows the idea that Macbeth is just too considerate to be able to carry such act of killing King Duncan.

“Fair is foul, and foul is fair, hover through fog and filthy air.” This portrays the idea that evil and good is everywhere

“O, full of scorpions is my mind!”
